Continuing Education
The French School offers continuing education courses to maintain and build on language skills of students who have completed our preschool and kindergarten. The program is designed to increase French language proficiency.
• Classes meet twice a week after school.
• Continual development of the four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
• Our thematic units incorporate art, music and cooking into the curriculum.
• Children maintain friendships made years earlier at the French School.
• We welcome children with prior French experience or from French-speaking families.
Summer Camp
Make your child’s summer fantastique at the French School’s total immersion summer camp. Weekly themes, engaging activities and daily outdoor play make learning French easy and fun.
Camp runs for a total of six weeks starting in early June for children ages 2 to 7.
Parent and Tot Class
Maman et moi is a French immersion program catering to children aged 12 to 36 months and their moms, dads, and caretakers.
• Classes meet once a week for an hour.
• Children learn French songs and games in a nurturing, fun environment to help develop language and motor skills.
• Our program takes advantage of the critical time in a child’s brain development to teach them a new language.
• Children and parents need no prior French experience.
