The French School, located in the heart of Chicago’s North Shore, is a total French immersion preschool and kindergarten that follows the internationally renowned curriculum of école maternelle, set forth by the French Ministry of Education. Our school, reminiscent of a quaint French home, provides a cheerful and inviting environment where native French speaking teachers warmly welcome our students. Our French School families come from not only different areas of Chicago and the North Shore, but also from all over the world: France, Canada, Russia, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Australia, China, Peru, Morocco, among others.
