Our Approach
Gone are the days of boring French classes. Our interactive teaching method uses practical conversation techniques to have you understanding and speaking in French with ease.
“Hands on” learning
Props are used to create life-like scenarios typically encountered when traveling to a French-speaking country. Each lesson is infused with fun and culture, along with entertaining anecdotes about the French and their country.
Native speaking teachers
We travel to France to hire the best and most experienced native-speaking staff. Our teachers have master’s degrees in teaching French as a foreign language and will have you conversing in French from day one. They enable you to acquire a great accent, cultural knowledge and, quite possibly, a preference for foie gras and escargots.

The French Institute of the North Shore is housed in a turn of the century building with a façade reminiscent of late 19th century Parisian architecture. We bring France to you with our non-traditional classrooms decorated à la française, creating an ambiance that inspires you to speak French.
